Malvern Zetasizer
A dynamic light scattering instrument for determination of particle size and zeta potential
Features of the Malvern Zetasizer
- Dynamic light scattering (DLS)
- Zeta potential determination: important in many applications including stability, particle adsorption to surfaces or transmittance through biologic barriers
- An autosampling attachment, the Nanosampler, is equipped with two 48-well plates enabling larger scale experiments to be conducted. The Nanosampler attachment is for particle size determination only
- Effective for colloidal dispersions from 1 nm to ~1 μm in a clear and transparent solvent
Location
Bindra Innovation Laboratory, Benson 121
Fees
- UW: $15/hr
- External: $50/hr
