Chemical Engineering is proud of the accomplishments of our undergraduate and graduate students. Below is a brief list of the recent awards won by Chemical Engineering students.

Graduate Student Symposium winners

NESAC/BIO ChemE Graduate Awards and Accomplishments

NESAC/BIO ChemE graduate student Michael Robinson placed third in the "2010 AVS Applied Surface Science Division" student competition. Robinson presentation was on 3D imaging of cells with ToF-SIMS.

Graduate students Michael Robinson and Shin Muramoto have been awarded travel grants to attend the Nanobeams School in Luxembourg in November.

Baio wins Society for Biomaterials Award

Chemical Engineer graduate student Joe Baio has won the 2011 Student Award for Outstanding Research from the Society for Biomaterials. Baio received the award for his research on characterizing the orientation of immobilized proteins.
