John Berg Delivers Shah Lecture at Univ. of Florida

Prof. John Berg, known as a distinguished scholar of interfacial and colloid science and one of the most beloved and celebrated teachers at the University of Washington, was honored at the University of Florida as the 2016 D.O. Shah Annual Lecturer on April 11. The D.O. Shah Annual Lecture in Surface Science was established by University of Florida Professor Dinesh Shah, who retired in 2005 after a distinguished academic career spanning 35 years. Prof. Shah was there to welcome Berg, who this year celebrates his 52nd year of teaching at the University of Washington. Prof. Berg delivered a lecture "Charging Colloidal Particles in Apolar Media".

"It was great to reconnect with Dinesh and share some of the exciting new development coming out of our lab, including dealing with the mechanisms behind the development of e-readers like Amazon Kindle and a new HP Indigo digital printing process," said Berg.
