Modumetal, one of Seattle's hottest start-ups, had an extra special holiday party after having closed a $33.5 million round of financing this past summer. Modumetal was co-founded by UW alumni John Whitaker andChristina Lomasney, both of whom worked in Prof. Dan Schwartz' research labs.
