Credits: 1. Forum for industrial, academic, and government leaders to share their experiences and insights with students. Includes topics related to leadership in the chemical engineering profession including career planning, management skills, interpersonal skills, effective planning, entrepreneurship, ethics, and strategic decisions. Course Objectives

To give students exposure to real career paths of chemical engineering graduates and facilitate discussion between speakers and students about modern chemical engineering practice and the skills required for success.

Topics Covered

Topics covered are at the discretion of the speaker.  All seminars are given by outside speakers who are alumni of the UW Chemical Engineering program.  Invited speakers represent industry, government laboratories, self-employed consultants, graduate and professional students, retired professionals, and the public service sector.

Class schedule:
One one-hour seminar per week.
