UW Chemical Engineering alumni Jeet Bindra, Gary Leal profiled on AIChE's Web site UW Chemical Engineering alumni Jeet Bindra (MS ‘70) and Gary Leal (BS ’65) were selected to represent UW as part of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) centennial celebration. AIChE is preparing a Web site celebrating their 100-year anniversary. The site includes biographies of notable alumni from universities nationwide. Bindra is president of global manufacturing for Chevron. Leal is a professor of chemical engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
