Students and faculty in the Department of Chemical Engineering study molecular and nanoscale systems central to biotechnology, nanotechnology, and sustainable energy, advancing products and processes that change our lives; new medicines, electronic and specialty materials, sustainable processing, recycling, alternative fuels, and efficient energy conversion.
