Open House
Eggs were Dropping and Benson Hall was Popping!
The last weekend in April, Benson Hall was popping! Over 7,000 students came to the University of Washington Engineering Open House, and at least 5,000 of them must have come to chemical engineering.

Undergraduate Research
Undergraduates Take on Timely Research Problems
This year 13 students did undergraduate research with Prof. Finlayson. Most of the projects involved FEMLAB in one way or another. One of the projects involved 11 students working on different aspects of a mixing problem that was brought to us by Steve Drury of Sharpe Mixers.
